For many years, people believed that man could not fly, go to the moon, or run a mile in under 4 minutes. At one point in time, all of these things were considered impossible, until someone worked to make the impossible, possible. There are some things that are not actually possible, like jumping from the earth to the moon or running a mile in 30 seconds. But so many times, people see things that could be possible, and because they believe they are impossible, they never try to do those things. However, there are others who do make the impossible, possible.
As Jesus said, in Mark 10:27, there are things that are impossible for men to do, but with God all things are possible. This is a theme we can see in the Bible, that there were people who trusted in God and faced things that seemed to be impossible, but those same things were possible with God. Some people look at themselves and their life situation and think that things will never change, and life is unfair. But with God, all things are possible. Some people look at their marriage, their family, their job, and even their church, thinking that nothing good can happen there, but with God, all things are possible!
In Isaiah 43:19, God said He would make a road in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Naturally, these things are not going to happen, but with God, they can happen. God can make a way, and bring things to pass that seem unlikely, unrealistic, and impossible. God can make a way for us with whatever He directs us to do, and with whatever He has promised to do in His Word. God will guide us to what part we may need to play in it, but for us, the biggest part can be believing that God can and will make a way for us where there seems to be no way. What looks impossible to man is possible with God!
